Make it a MAGICAL one // XX(ffffound/a patch of skye)

As great as it is to be away with lovely family; eating and drinking like an out of control swamp monster, nothing feels better than breaking through the clouds and landing at JFK knowing your home. I decided to spend the evening with some tea and a little re-model; I hung my new prints from WONDERWALL, set up my TOBIAS WONG for AREA WEAR wireless light switch, carefully shelved my new blush ceramics I picked up at Salvation Army in Phoenix and positioned my KARTELL acrylic yellow vase amongst it all.... working on a new color story... ah heaven. It's good to be back. I LOVE YOU NY.
I wish I could capture this feeling and make it last forever // Moriarty family Christmas Eve 1986... Too good, the old wood paneled walls of my grandparents basement, the silver tinsel thrown on the tree, the bar with the neon 'OLD STYLE' sign on the wall, the pool table, running up the stairs to look for santa's sleigh in the sky... having the time of our freaking lives. Then my grandpa died (middle by me, I'm the one in the cobalt/blue rugby) and I have spent the past 24 years trying to make Christmas Eve as magical as it was then... I'm glad it lives in my heart. Merry Christmas everybody and love to Grandpa Jack...
