Sadly, I have gotten so busy with work that I must continue Scandinavian Design week later, but this sort of counts.... my friend SOFIA MALM of HOUSE OF DAGMAR has the most insane glasses!! She is stunning in them! So even though I have perfect 20/20 vision (knock on wood) I came back to NY and instantly bid on a pair of Vintage YSL aviator glasses on ebay, sadly I lost.... but lucky for us, you can get amazing eyewear from TOM FORD, SOFIA's are TOM FORD circa 2008. Now I may just have to fake an eye test to make this happen, much like I did when I was in 5th grade and really wanted those purple framed specs, sorry mom :)

SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN. 1 //

Today is day one of covering SCANDINAVIAN fashion. Your eyes would have to be closed to not see that they are taking over the world. One at a time, ruling the fashion world... I was fascinated while at PUB in Stockholm to see the entire top floor (+46 SHOP) is converted into a gallery style show of progressive SCANDINAVIAN DESIGNERS.

no. 1 ANN-SOFIE BACK // a Swedish fashion designer who won Elle's 'Newcomer of the Year' award in 1997 and who is also now the Creative Director for CHEAP MONDAY. Her fall 2009 namesake collection was based around dreamcatchers and is dark- yet quite dreamy- just they way I like it. The gorgeous deep cobalt pop's and bleeding heart sunglasses add another element to the already fascinating collection.

FORMANOVUS //

As you may have gathered by now KIRK MILLAR is one of my male muses. It is a plus to keep a pretty boy around for random photo shoots you may be feeling. I mean who knows one night inspiration may hit and you may have the overwhelming urge to become Bianca Jagger and do a shoot with Mick, Kirk makes that possible for me along with the little help from a jaunty wig turned backwards. Well, this is a whole other story. ANYWAYS...Here he is shot in some of the knitwear I did with DANA LEE mixed with pieces from ROBERT GELLER .
