Who knew those words went together? I am so completely into the pairing right now its not even funny. Let me set the look for you: Oversized chambray shirt (over a mini dress of coarse) + chipped red nails + KLEIN TOOL BAGS. I picked up this canvas bad boy at Home Depot the other day and have never been so ecstatic to own my own tool kit before. I ran home and filled it with hammers, cords, red varnish (of coarse) and nails. What a chic piece to pull out when its time to hang a picture, Im dying. My dad and Bjorn will be so proud....

BEAUTIFUL THINGS MAKE THE WORLD GO ROUND // .... and I have to take the time to seek some beauty in the midst of my hectic schedule right now.  Today I am especially loving the photography from NY photographer CAROLINA PALMGREN.  The colors, lighting,  and styling are near perfection... everything from the slicked back hair, vibrant lips as well as the use of clothing and accessories by threeASFOUR.  There is something quite dreamy about the translucent vibrancy and opulent graphic undertones that make these images stand out on this rainy day...

So I am soooooo, sooooo sorry I have been MIA!!!  I have had my head completely buried in boxes and all of my creative energy has been expelled on setting up free 'stations' in my refuse room (which btw have been snapped up at rapid speed, I must have good merchandising skills!?!) So life is a mess, what once was beauty has been transformed into somewhat of a cardboard paradise and my dreams wrapped in paper, but hey, as they say "THUNDER ONLY HAPPENS WHEN IT RAINS"

I have been packing all day and am now re-surfacing for a little creative freedom. I have to say packing is completely messy and raw but also so cleansing, what an amazing concept to open the boxes in the new place and know there is absolutely no junk to be pulled out.... Dreamy. Dreamy like these pieces from SURFACE TO AIR... I own these leggings and they may be one of the best things that have happened to my wardrobe in a long time, and wow, good for you they are on sale now!!

HAIDER ACKERMANN is one of those Parisian designers that that has some how flown low under my radar until now. ACKERMANN is a bit RICK OWENS, a dash of CDG and a touch of MMM all wrapped into a man with a style that is all his own. He has a way of draping natural fibers into delicate webs; cottons, wools and leathers transformed into dreamy sheaths. It is said that ACKERMANN may be taking over for MMM... hold tight for more news... I'd hate to see MMM go, but I think it's clear Ackermann understands his aesthetic and way for dressing women. If I woke up tomorrow with the last outfit by my bedside, dropped off by a magic troll... I would just be beyond myself with excitement and joy. F'n gorgeous, those colors, that sweater, the patent leggings, sh*t.
